Champion for Mental Health & Community
As the founder and owner of Healing with Trust Therapy, LLC, she leads with the belief that trust and cultural understanding are at the heart of healing. This aligns with the NABSW’s principle of Culturally Competent and Anti-Oppressive Practice, ensuring that the needs of Caribbean and Black clients are met with compassion and understanding. 🌍 Her dedication reflects a deep commitment to culturally sensitive mental health care that uplifts the spirit and identity of every person she serves. 🧠💖
Beyond her practice, she co-founded Healing & Wellness: Empowering Migrant Minds, Inc., a nonprofit focused on mental health care for migrant populations. This important work underscores the NABSW’s core value of Advocacy for the Oppressed and marginalized. addressing the struggles faced by migrants as they adapt to new environments, she ensures that mental health support reaches those who are too often overlooked.
